Always fun to see what GoWesty has kicking around. I can attest from personal experience that 2wd Vanagons have more than enough traction to get to really stupid places before getting stuck.

Hm, maybe. It looks like Dirt Every Day Episode 49 features a 1989 Vanagon... but I don’t have Motor Trend On Demand to view it. Even more strangely, they don’t even have a preview of the episode. Or any episode.

yeah, i keep up with a bunch of the motor trend channel stuff, but hadnt started really looking at the on demand stuff. its the start of them selling out................
but hey, gotta keep the lights on somehow right?
